How it works

From email to published post.

Four steps. Your team stays in control, and nothing is published without approval.

01

You send the content

A real estate agent emails the agency’s dedicated eignaPost address with the property address, a link to the listing on fasteignir.visir.is and the photos as attachments. Only registered team members can submit content.

Each agency has its own email address. The system uses the recipient address to identify the agency and the sender’s address to identify the real estate agent. The agent’s name appears on the property card.

02

The draft is created

eignaPost reads the property listing on Vísir: the address, floor area, number of rooms, price, open house details and description. It uses these details to create a property card in your agency’s branding, with the photos from the email and the real estate agent’s name. The post text is copied word for word from the Vísir description.

03

You review and approve

A member of your team receives an email with a link to the review page. They can edit the text, approve the post or reject it. Opening the link does not publish anything. Publishing requires a separate confirmation.

When processing stops

If the address in the email does not match the property listing on Vísir, processing stops and the sender receives an email. The same happens if required information is missing from the submission. If the reviewer rejects the draft, nothing is published.

Open houses

The OPEN HOUSE banner appears only when a date and time are found in the property description on Vísir. Otherwise, no open house banner is shown.
